HISTORY

Phi Pi Alpha was established in the early 1980’s by students within the CSULA Program of Fire Protection Administration and Technology. In its early years, Phi Pi Alpha, consisted of men who were already professionally active within the fire service. Over the years Phi Pi Alpha recognized by the LACoFD and LAFD. Due to the hard work and commitment of past individuals within Phi Pi Alpha, we have been able to build upon the foundation set and continue to strive for excellence. We must continue to educate ourselves in order to make sound decisions on the fireground.
