PHI PI ALPHA

Part of the tradition and duty of Phi Pi Alpha is to better educate the students, faculty, and staff of Cal State Los Angeles as well as the citizens of the surrounding areas in fire safety. Phi Pi Alpha takes part in promotional events within the fire department as well as hold demonstrations on campus. These on-campus events consist of: firefighter physical training, firefighter hiring forums, blood drives, health prevention forums, CPR-First aid, C.E.R.T training, and the distribution of fire safety information during community fundraisers, etc. We network to local junior colleges, high schools, junior high schools, and elementary schools. Our mission is to motivate everyone to excel in his or her educational studies. As the only Fire Fraternity in California we provide something innovative and educated for the fire service.
